Are you passionate about supporting and caring for children with learning disabilities, and looking for local, stable work up to 30+ Hours a week?

This is an exciting opportunity to receive full training in this specialist field. Not only will you receive training on how to deliver basic care, but you will also work with our learning disabilities trainer to gain valuable understanding and insight into the needs of the children that we support.

A typical weekend shift will start anywhere from 8 am and could finish anywhere from 1 pm to 4 pm, depending on each individual's support plan.

You could support children in their homes or take them into the community for fun and engaging activities. You will also have access to our activity centre based in Weston-super-Mare.

This role would suit people who are passionate about providing care to children with learning disabilities. The right person will also be looking for local and stable weekend work with the option to work some weekday evenings in a part-time role.

  • Mostly weekend work with optional weekday evenings.

  • Providing 2:1 support to children at home and in the community
  • Driving required
THE PERSON:
  • Looking for full training to become a Children's Community Support Worker
  • Must have a full UK Driving Licence with access to your vehicle.
